Tracey MacDonald - tried doing stand up in a comedy contest in Antigonish Nova Scotia Canada after being dared by the girls she lived in her dorm with. Although Tracey ended up graduating and getting her University Bachelor of Arts Degree Majoring in Sociology it was in 1996 that she decided to move to Ottawa Canada for good and take any odd job she could to be able to play the clubs. Although Tracey tried comedy in Toronto for one year in 1999 she missed her friends and the love of her life Bill.
In her time in Canada, Tracey got funnier and patient. Then her phone started to ring. She did almost every show and festival all across Canada that there was to do regarding Stand Up Comedy.
It wasn't until Tracey got laid off from CDI Corporate College in 2002 that Tracey told her boss at the time "It's okay I will really focus on my comedy."
In that next year Tracey MacDonald got discovered after her tape got tossed out from a Festival it was discovered and picked up by a guy named Mike Wardlow.
It was brought over to CBS'S STAR SEARCH and after they had looked at over three thousand comics they called Tracey and wanted her on their show asap.
After over 12 million Americans and many Canadian veiwers voted four weeks in a row Tracey won each competition becoming the Grand Champion.
Tracey remains a worrier...now living an overwhelmingly new scary life in Hollywood. She is a irregular at the Comedy Magic club in Hermosa Beach (Leno's a regular on Sundays so is Seinfeld and Larry Sanders) and the Improv on Melrose. (usually on Drew Carrey night)
Tracey is very happy with her manager Barry Katz (as seen in Comedian speaking to George Shapiro and giving advice to comic Orny Adams)
Tracey is in the midst of pitching to the networks....her dream next...."I want to be able to one day walk in any club and get on, I want my own talk show and I want to one day manage and promote new comics."
Oh shit I almost forgot a boyfriend would be cool too.
